• A family run hostel, the owners are a beautiful couple, a little out of the way and not a party place but it is the cleanest hostel i've ever stayed at and would recommend it
• initially this placed seemed a wee way out of Kyoto - until you discover that the Tozei subway line goes straight into the city centre and you dont have to go through yamashina to get there!
• New place - 5 months. Very friendly.

• Bit difficult to get to being in between two stations but Location is good for different tube lines. Double room had DVD player (R2) which never expected (or got anywhere else), kitchen a bit small but had everything. Great staff and free internet.

• he owners are really really nice. The place is very clean and safe. Not expensive. Not a place for party or drinking, but a nice clean place to stay. I`ll recommend to my friends.

• Very warm and welcoming this hostel is just outside the main centre of Kyoto but there is FREE laundry and FREE internet. Great place.

• In was a nice family run, cosy, friendly place
• very clean, very friendly, a bit out of the way from city center but close to train and nice neighborhood feel. Excellent value. The owners aim to please and could not do any better.
• The staff at this hostel were very friendly. The room I stayed in was very roomy and the beds were not bunk beds. They had curtains to maintain privacy

• I really like the atmosphere, the cleanliness and of course the kindness of M and Mrs Takatsuka !!
• The couple that own the hostel were lovely, like our surrogate parents for 4 days! It was very clean. comfortable & we felt safe 6 secure. We could even leave our room door open!
