Arashiyama Momiji Matsuri (Maple Festival)
This festival, held in honor of the autumn leaves of this famous area, takes place around the Togetsukyo Bridge on the second Sunday of the month. Festivites include traditional Japanese dancing, music and a kyogen comedy theatre performance.
